Giving a portrait

The right photo, and the surprise intact

The finest gift portraits start with a photo the recipient already loves, from a holiday or a family gathering. If a friend or relative has the perfect picture, ask them for the original file: screenshots and photos saved from social media are often reduced.

You approve the portrait yourself before you pay, so the surprise stays intact. Enter the recipient's address at checkout and we ship the print or canvas straight to them, free, with no receipt or invoice in the parcel. Short on time? What if I don't have a good photo of them?

Ask someone close to them for the original file of a favorite photo. The face should be clear, well lit and not too small; an older photo or a good scan of a printed one can work too. After you upload, we check the photo and tell you if a sharper or brighter one would give a better result.

Can I ship it straight to the person I'm giving it to?

Yes. Enter their address at checkout: prints and canvases ship free, with tracking, and no receipt or invoice is included in the parcel. The tracking link is emailed to you, so you can follow the parcel without spoiling the surprise.

Is there a last-minute option?

The Digital Artwork is sent by email shortly after your order: a high-resolution file of 4096 × 6144 pixels, without watermark, with a secure download link valid for 30 days. Print it, frame it or share it on the day. Prints and canvases are made to order in 3 to 5 business days, and most Standard orders arrive within 7 to 14 business days in total.

What can I give a pet lover?
